This is a shortened version of “Knowledge integration in organizations: an empirical assessment” which originally appeared in the Journal of Knowledge Management, Volume 10 Number 4. The authors were Jacqueline L. Kenney and Siegfried P. Gudergan, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.

Abstract: Organizational form and combinative capabilities can explain the effects of efficiency, scope and flexibility on firm-level knowledge integration. In turn, differences in knowledge types and forms necessitate the use of secondary combinative capabilities.
