The 2007 ISPIM Conference, “Innovation for Growth: The Challenges for East & West”, will be held in Warsaw, Poland on 17-20 June 2007.

Call for Papers
Submissions are encouraged from academics, business leaders and consultants – reflecting the nature of the ISPIM community.

Please note that all submissions should fit with the conference theme of “Innovation for Growth: The Challenges for East & West” and should focus on one of the following sub-themes:

  • Culture and cultural differences/experiences and social behaviour
  • Competitiveness
  • Education and training in innovation
  • Environment and sustainable development
  • Learning and knowledge management
  • Open innovation, organisations and virtuality
  • Service innovations
  • Technology, entrepreneurship and creativity

IMPORTANT: all presenters must pay their conference fee by 30 April 2007 to confirm their place in the conference programme!

Important Deadlines:

Academic papers:

  • Paper abstracts – 31 December 2006
  • Acceptance notification – 28 February 2007
  • Final papers with slides – 30 April 2007

Practitioner presentations, short paper presentations:

  • Outlines/abstracts – 31 December 2006
  • Acceptance notification – 28 February 2007  
  • Final submissions with slides – 30 April 2007
     

The Conference will be composed of several types of contributions:

Academic Papers – These include mainly accomplished research results and have a maximum of 5,000 words. Presenters are required to submit extended abstracts of between 800-1,000 words maximum together with a presentation of their paper with a maximum of 15 slides. Presenters accepted to the academic track will have 30 minutes to present their paper and take questions.

Practitioner Presentations – These include mainly demonstrations of successful business practices. Presenters are required to submit outlines of up to 500 words maximum together with a presentation with a maximum of 15 slides. Presenters accepted to the practitioner track will have 30 minutes to deliver their presentation and take questions.

Short Papers – These contain implementation information or work-in-progress and have a maximum of 2,500 words. Presenters are required to submit an abstract of 500 words maximum together with a presentation with a maximum of 5 slides. Presenters will have a maximum of 20 minutes to deliver their presentation and take questions.

Note that all presenters are required to upload files to the ISPIM conference website by the deadline dates – click here to login. The following formats are required for the various submissions:

  • Papers – Word (.doc) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
  • Presentations – Powerpoint (.ppt or .pps) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
  • Profiles – Word (.doc) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
  • Photographs – GIF (.gif) or JPEG (.jpg)
