EDITOR’S NOTE

“Europe is gaining ground on the US in the field of innovation thanks mainly to Nordic countries leading the way,” reports the EU commission. Denmark, with a comparatively small population, ranked well amongst the 34 countries that were evaluated. Helen Martin reports on the example of successful Danish social networking group Mikronet.
