Call for Survey Participation: Critical Success Factors for Knowledge Management

Critical Success Factors for Knowledge Management Questionnaire

You are being asked to participant in a research study on the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) for Knowledge Management (KM).  The research study is being conducted by Curtis Conley, a doctoral candidate at Northern Illinois University.  You are being asked to participate in the survey because you have been identified as being a KM practitioner, belonging to a KM association/group, and/or you have published scholarly work on KM.  As such, your knowledge and expertise is crucial in shaping the final product of this research.

You will be asked to fill out three questionnaires. The questionnaires contain items asking about your professional background, CSFs for KM and the framework of CSFs for KM proposed by this study.  The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. 

There are no risks associated with this study.  Participating in this study may give you the opportunity to reflect on your own practice and/or research.  Additionally, the CSFs for KM and framework proposed may identify new factors for your consideration.  A summary of the findings from this research study will be made available to you if you wish by including a contact email address at the end of the survey.  The information you provide will be kept separate from your email address if you wish to have the study findings sent to you.

All of the information obtained from your participation will be kept confidential. Your consent form will be kept separate from the data and the data will not be available to anyone other than the researcher conducting the study.

You are reminded that your participation is voluntary. This means that you can choose to stop at any time without penalty.
