TRIPLE-I 2008 – The Innovation Conference for Knowledge Management, New Media Technology and Semantic Systems, 3–5 September 2008, Messe Center Graz, Austria

The submission deadline is 14 April 2008.

The TRIPLE-I Conference series started in 2007 as a joint venture of the conferences I-KNOW, I-MEDIA and I-SEMANTICS. TRIPLE-I reflects the increasing importance and convergence of knowledge management, new media technologies and semantic systems. This unique concept aims at bridging the gaps between the various communities and their technology fields. The main focus of the individual conferences is as follows.

I-KNOW addresses latest scientific results in IT based knowledge management and complements these topics with brand new research challenges in the areas of Knowledge Services und Knowledge Relationship Discovery.

I-MEDIA addresses latest scientific results in new media technology and complements these topics with brand new research challenges in Corporate Web 2.0 and New Media Services including applications for Mobile Devices.

I-SEMANTICS addresses latest scientific results in semantic systems and complements hese topics with brand new research challenges in the area of Social Semantic Software, Semantic Content Engineering and Semantic Web.

TOPICS

TRIPLE-I 2008 invites the submission of original contributions from academic, public and industrial/commercial sectors. The conference focus is on application-oriented research with emphasis on information technologies. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Extended versions of the best papers will also be published in our electronic journal J.UCS (www.jucs.org).

The submission deadline is 14 April 2008.

RESEARCH AND APPLICATION

The TRIPLE-I provides a perfect opportunity to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field. It brings together leading researchers and practitioners and attracts an interested audience of more than 500 attendees. The novelty and the quality of the accepted contributions are ensured by a renowned program committee consisting of international experts.

NETWORKING

It is in the tradition of the conference to provide a platform for community building and maintenance. Special tracks, tutorials, workshops and round tables support networking among researchers, practitioners and interested audience.
